OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing)
The customer provides the product design drawings, technical parameters, and brand logo, and the manufacturer produces the product according to the customer's requirements and affixes the customer's brand on the product.
Process:
1. Customer provides design scheme: The customer provides a detailed product design scheme, including appearance design, functional requirements, material selection, etc.
2. Manufacturer quotes: The manufacturer quotes according to the scheme provided by the customer, including production costs, mold costs, etc.
3. Signing the contract: Both parties sign a production contract, specifying product specifications, quantity, delivery date, payment method, etc.
4. Sample production: The manufacturer produces samples according to the contract requirements and confirms with the customer.
5. Mass production: After the sample is confirmed, the manufacturer starts mass production.
6. Quality inspection: After the product is produced, strict quality inspection is carried out to ensure that it meets the customer's requirements.
7. Packaging and shipment: After passing the quality inspection, the product is packaged and shipped according to the contract requirements
ODM (Original Design Manufacturing)
The customer puts forward the product requirements, and the manufacturer is responsible for the overall design, development, and production of the product, and provides it to the customer for private label sales.
Process:
1. Customer puts forward requirements: The customer puts forward requirements for the product's functions, appearance, performance, etc.
2. Manufacturer design and development: The manufacturer designs and develops the product according to the customer's requirements, including appearance design, structural design, and functional development.
3. Sample production: The manufacturer produces samples and communicates with the customer multiple times to continuously improve the product design.
4. Customer confirmation: After the customer confirms the sample, the manufacturer starts mass production.
5. Quality inspection: After the product is produced, strict quality inspection is carried out to ensure that it meets the customer's requirements.
6. Packaging and shipment: After passing the quality inspection, the product is packaged and shipped according to the contract requirements.
